Meet Teresa Robinson, DNP, ARNP, PMHNP-BC, CFPP, CPPS

Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Psychiatry Redefined Certified Functional Psychiatry Provider (CFPP)

I believe mental health care should be thoughtful, collaborative, and personalized—not rushed or one-size-fits-all.

Many of the individuals I work with are high-functioning on the outside while quietly struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, burnout, poor sleep, mental fatigue, or feeling like they've "lost themselves." My goal is to create a calm, supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and actively involved in every treatment decision.

As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatry Redefined Certified Functional Psychiatry Provider (CFPP), I combine evidence-based psychiatric care with an integrative, whole-person approach. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, I work with patients to identify the many factors that may be contributing to their mental health, including sleep, nutrition, stress, medical conditions, hormones, inflammation, lifestyle, relationships, and, when clinically appropriate, advanced laboratory and genetic testing.

I believe understanding why symptoms develop is just as important as treating them. Together, we'll develop an individualized treatment plan that aligns with your goals, helping you move toward greater clarity, resilience, and long-term wellness.

My professional journey has given me a deep appreciation for perseverance, lifelong learning, and compassionate care. Before becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I balanced teaching, family life, healthcare leadership, and returning to school later in life to earn my nursing and doctoral degrees. Those experiences continue to shape the way I care for others—with empathy, curiosity, collaboration, and respect for each person's unique story.

Beacon Psychiatry & Wellness was created to provide a different kind of psychiatric practice—one where patients have the time to be heard, receive personalized recommendations, and partner in decisions that support lasting mental wellness.
